Alex and Shelley Fields are longtime residents of the Mendocino Coast. They launched Tour Mendocino as a way to share their passion for the region while offering an essential service to the community. 

In 2005, Alex and Shelley moved with their two children to Mendocino after spending several years in Washington State. For Shelley this was a homecoming. For Alex, this was the discovery of a world and community that has become the only place he wants to be. 

With close to 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and extensive experience on local trails, The Lost Coast, and on the 2650-mile Pacific Crest Trail, Alex offers a unique combination of rugged outdoor skills and polished customer service. He holds a deep love for Mendocino County and is excited to show it off!
